Throughout October, Merge is featuring films of the dreamworld, slightly bizarre and strange… and appropriate for the month of Halloween!

Oct 5th:  ALICE IN WONDERLAND (1951) To start us off - we’re featuring Alice, the Mad Hatter, Cheshire Cat, White Rabbit and of course Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum in Disney’s classic film -

Oct 12th: WHAT DREAMS MAY COME (1998) Robin Williams stars in this film about the afterlife, with a beautifully interpreted world with dreamlike qualities, horrors and beauties, and above all - love. “After life there is more. The end is just the beginning.”

Oct 19th: THE WIZARD OF OZ (1939)and PINK FLOYD’s DARK SIDE OF THE MOON (1973)

You’ve seen the film, you’ve heard the album, but you haven’t seen it all until you’ve experienced the odd synchronicities between the two played simultaneously.

Oct 26th: NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET (1984) Appropriate for Halloween week, we’ll show Freddy Krueger haunting the dreamworld.  Wes Craven, the film’s director, has acknowledged a fascination with dreams and nightmares, and has said that the basic nightmare theme of being relentlessly pursued by a malevolent antagonist is the backbone of his film’s story.  Enjoy 1980’s special horror and get pumped for halloween!

All films  start at 9pm.  They are projected on a large screen above the stage!

As always, dinner and movie comes with FREE popcorn and all pitchers of beer are just $10!!!
